Life is unfair

Today I'm holding baby with a little bit of guilt. It's unfair I have a healthy son. It's unfair my labour and delivery were uneventful. Someone who will remain unnamed lost a child last night. A newborn baby. It makes the sleepless nights and days of crying more like little blessings. I'm going to cuddle my baby a little more today and pray for those who have to go through times I don't understand and can't explain.

Jericho - don't grow up too fast. Realize how much I love you and how thankful to God I am that you're here. You are the most precious gift besides salvation I've ever been given. Even as you sit here beside me and fuss, I wouldn't trade you for anything.

I am so very sorry that this has happened. I will pray for this family for healing. Losing a child is very hard, no matter when it happens. My heart weeps for all little ones lost, born and unborn.

That is aweful! I can't even imagine. It certainly allows you to step out of your world for a second and get a clear perspective of how blessed you are when you hear of something like this. We will be praying for healing for the family and everyone affected by the news. I am going to go cuddle my babies now.
