I'm having weird feelings right now. On one hand I'm very excited to be leaving in just over an hour to go to the second Canucks game in 4 days, but on the other hand I'm very worried and concerned for my nephew Deacon as he's been admitted into Children's Hospital again as he has the flu terribly and has lost 2 lbs since Sunday. If you knew everything he has been through in his short life already, you would know that a 2 lb weight loss at this point is devastating. He's almost 9 months old and is only about 13 lbs.
How can I be so excited yet so sad at the same time?

I will be praying for Deacon...I saw him on Sunday and he looked so cute, its sad that he's sick again!! By the way, what an awesome game you went to!!!
Part of the issue is those two lbs are the weight he has gained since Nov last year. Her dr got after her for not coming in sooner. She went to the local clinic on sunday am, and he told her to come back if nothing changed in 48 hours! Told her to come back when he looses one lb.
It was a great game too, Nina went in to children's last nite and said he looked a bit better and that they were now in a room upstairs, i go in the am.
